Domain

I originally purchased Dark Rose simply because it was pretty - a fairly shallow way to spend ten dollars, really. At first it served as my domain collective because I used five domains at the time, but once I decided that I only wanted to keep one, I chose Dark Rose because it can be personal and interpreted differently. Plus, it’s still pretty also short and plain English, so why not? Dark Rose is currently registered at Namecheap and hosted on Surpass Hosting.

The current theme is inspired by a song that Mrs. Lovett sings in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, a movie I was obsessing over while designing it. In “Poor Thing,” one of the lyrics are “had her chance for the moon on a string…” which started me off and eventually became what you see here. The geometric shapes are defaults in Paint Shop Pro 7, the program I used to outline the design, and the code is written in good ol’ Notepad. I hope it is to your liking.
