My NightmareOh yes. Another mega update. Can’t you just tell I have no life? This time it’s for the giant squid fanlisting, which just so happens to now have:
- A new layout with an accompanying favicon and bullet made of awesome.
- Which means there’s new coding too, coding that isn’t deprecated! Woo.
- New information. I took notes on squid documentaries I watched at like two in the morning a few months ago and used them to create a new giant squid page.
- Went through affiliates, updating the ones that hadn’t notified me and adding some of my other animal fanlistings as links. Organized them by subcategory and converted them from a list to buttons; I do love 75×50.
- I added 15 new codes. I should probably go through and make new buttons for 88×31 and 100×35 for the ones I made previously, but eh. Maybe later, too lazy to go grab the images for that at the moment.
I also took away the manual updates section on it, but since they’re so epic and I’m such a pack rat I will paste them here for record’s sake:

Got the fanlisting up and working in Firefox and Internet Explorer! :)
To add to the rapport of “yay we got fans” I will say that we reached 23 today for squiddies. Slowly but surely we are taking the world by storm… Oh, and seeing as the February 18th is the day I originally opened the fanlisting… Awaken the Kraken has been online for, wait for it, waaaaaaait for it - a year and nearly four months. My eldest fanlisting, not counting ones I’ve adopted (if you did it would be Naomi, who’s been around since 2005, though I only recently adopted her).
And that’s all folks. I’ve got my eye on red foxes now, I’m losing love for the current layout… also, Tia Dalma and Tia x Davy are deserving of mass updates too, especially now that I’ve gotten back into the fandom after having watched PotC some more as of late.
P.S. is it me or are my layouts getting boxy? Ah well, I like it. They’re lookin’ cool, at least.
